  1. 2 medium Butternut, peeled and cubed

  2. 3 medium Potatoes, peeled and cubed

  3. 3 baby Onions, peeled and coarsely chopped

  4. 1 Tomato, coarsely chopped

  5. 1000 ml chicken Stock

  6. 125 ml Orley Whip

  7. 10 ml Salt

  8. 5 ml freshly ground black Pepper

  9. 3 ml ground Cumin

  10. 3 ml ground Coriander

  11. 3 ml Masala

  12. Garnish

  13. fresh Coriander Leaves (optional)

  14. dices smoked Bacon (optional)

  15. diced Biltong (optional)


  1. Add Butternut, Potatoes, Onions, Tomato and Stock to Soup Casserole.

  2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer covered till the vegetables are cooked through and soft.

  3. Pulp vegetables and stock till smooth. Add Orley Whip and all spices. Return to stove and heat through.

  4. Serve with you choice of garnish.
